Carpe Diem. Sieze the day

Hola my beauty lovers. I called this carpe diem because I have so much to share with you all! So I'm seizing the day with this blog post. Hope you don't mind. So I have some goodies I'd like to share with you all.
I wore MAC Pro Longwear Foundation for 14 full hours. I applied it at 11am, went out later at night without reapplying the foundation, and washed it off a little after 2am. Christine on temptalia said testing out foundation is a longer process which I agree. So far this is my first impression and I am very impressed.
PROS
Packaging
The pump locks
You get a good amount with one pump
A little goes a long way
I think of it as a face stain in my opinion
Very natural finish
Nontransferable! I had this problem with Studio Fix and Sculpt
Doesn't feel heavy
CONS
If you apply to much, it easily looks cakey
Still need to blot, but not as much. My face wasn't as shiny as it would get with Studio Sculpt
Overall, I'm very, very happy with this foundation and I wanted to show you all how I looked at 2am. I was a little shiny but I was out partying so it was kind of expected, but I'm still impressed with the lasting power. For reference, I am NW45.

Next, I wanted to try a Fall look.

I wanted something to match my nails, so I went to my Coastal Scents palette but didn't really have the colors I wanted. I wanted some pigmented oranges and yellows which CS kind of lacked, but I still gave it a go. I'm not 100% happy with it. Personally, I think I needed some darker versions of these colors in my collection, like the CS Fall Festival Palette.

Next...I wanted to talk about Revlon PhotoReady. (I'm wearing it above) I remembered looking at Temptalia's foundation matrix and my match was supposedly Cappucino. I picked it up and am wearing it right now. I wanted to show you all the comparisons with my Pro Longwear.
Here are the bottles taken with flash, as you can see, the colors are very similar.
without flash, pro longwear on top, revlon on bottom
with flash, pro longwear on top, revlon on bottom
with flash, pro longwear on top, revlon on bottom
w/o flash, pro longwear on top, revlon on bottom
I don't know how many hours PhotoReady is supposed to last so I'll have a better review on it next time, but right now it feels lightweight and gives a nice finish. Very pleased to find a drugstore foundation I can go to. It was $12 at Target!
Also, since I'm running low on Fresh Brew l/s and Tuesday I'm gona spend all my$ on VV, I tried looking for a dupe. I had no idea how hard dupes are to find! I picked up Revlon l/s in Champagne on Ice and NYC Liquid lip shine in Cappucino.

Revlon and NYC are no match for my MAC, but I ended up liking how the two work together even though its not nude
in natural sunlight by my window

& lastly, yes I'm almost done, I bought Crest White Strips. This is day two wearing them so I'll keep you all posted by the end of the week.
Okay I'm done! Thank you all for taking the time to read, comment, stop by, check out my goodies, everything. I'm almost at 50 followers! :)
xoxo If you have any good drugstore finds, let me know!

It's a shame MAC foundations doesn't work for me, they are too yellow for my skin tone!
