Starting a portfolio

My friend Britnie let me do her makeup today. I was so nervous in the beginning because it took forever for me to learn on myself and I tried doing my mom's and older sister makeup and it just didnt work because of their eye shape but I've been practicing. Here is Britnie with a very nuetral look and I plan on beginning my portfolio with this.

Snowed in & smokey on the east coast

Another blizzard here on the east coast, ugh! It was worse this morning and from what I heard this is our 7th blizzard wahhh Anyway, home with nothing to do I decided to play in my makeup. I saw this picture and wanted to recreate this smokey eye

I learned the smokey eye from Jlovesmac1 & i liked how she used dark blue as opposed to black because when I use black, I look like I got punched in the face. But today I used only black in the outer corner and it came out better than normal and I think it's because I finally learned how to use the 217 finally. I used to HATE that brush but now I love it. It made the black go on PERFECT!

For the rest of the eyes, I used MAC Grain as a highlight and 2 different silvers from my Coastal Scents palette for the lid and crease along with NYX Jumbo Pencil in Pot & Pans as a base. My lips is MAC Saint Germain.
What do you think? I think I'm getting there with the smokey eye, its my favorite look.

A night in nyc

Last night, we celebrated my best friend Rominas 21st bday in NY. We went to this nice club with a rooftop and an overview of the city.









It was such a fun night, havent been to NY in so long
My look was my usual smokey eye using Moonlight Night pigment & UD Naked.
& as if you couldnt notice in the pictures, me and romina were goneeeee lol

I know Inglot shadows have numbers but I cant take mine out the palette (since its magnetic) to see it.

INGLOT = LOVE

So I found a new love, INGLOT! I went to the mall and there it was. I felt like I was in makeup heaven and had such a blast. The workers were super nice and I was so overwhelmed by everything in there. Me and my friend were in that store for nearly an hour!

Johane loved her makeup so much, she began taking pictures like crazy

She ended up buying the cream foundation and making a 3 color lip palette.
As for me, I only bought 2 eye colors that I fell in LOVE with.


SUPER pigmented colors, I LOVE THESE!! The black is shimmery golds in them, I had to buy it. The other is like a pretty sparkly kind of dark brown with gold shimmers. As soon as I got home I did a look with them


Overall, my experience at Inglot was amazing. The MUA's were not very pushy, they were very chill. We chatted up a storm the whole time we were there and even got my friend into some products. I love the idea of freedom palettes, being able to freely choose what colors you want as you go along. I will definately be going back for more shadows and hopefully for lipsticks. Inglot does phone orders as well so if you want to order, call them up.

My eyes have been lonely...

Havent worn much eye makeup lately, been giving my skin a break, but today I decided to finally play in my Athma quad from the Mickey Contractor collection. Hope you like :)


I'm wearing Jaan on the lid, Folie in the crease, and darkened it with a dark brown from my coastal scents palette. I lined my eyes with Ivy fluidline. On my lips is Viva Glam Gaga (I forgot how much I loved this lipstick) with NARS Turkish delight on top

Foundation too dark? Try this!

So I was obsessed with MAC Pro Longwear however I've been neglecting it because I bought it when it came out in September and I was still pretty dark. But then I googled how to lighten foundation and it turns out mixing it with lotion helps! Take a look:


You can see how dark PLW is in the bottle and mixed with my Aveeno lotion, it lightened up, but the true test was will it be okay on my face


I <3 it, its perfect for me now. It's too much work mixing but I'll save it for when I run out of my MUFE and EL foundations which are my top favorite.
Basically I mixed the foundation and lotion on one of my Sephora mirrors, stippled it on, then buffed it with my kabuki for even coverage.
On my cheeks I am wearing Posey blushcreme with a blush from my CS palette on top. My lips are NYX l/g in Strawberry.

Very simple, nothing on my eyes at all, just foundation (Estee Lauder), Virgin Isle CCB on cheeks and for my lips, MUFE Innuendo and MAC Revenge is Sweet

Peachy Coral Lips

Hey loves. Just so you all know, I'm doing the no makeup thing this week. I've always had acne since 6th grade and although I don't break out as bad as before, I'm starting to get little bumps on my jawline and my cheeks. It's like acne under the skin so I'm giving my skin sometime to breathe.
Other then that, I notice I wear a lot of pinks and nudes on my lips & wanted to give coral a
try.



To create this, I used Virgin Isle CCB and topped it with NYX Strawberry Lipgloss on top

What do you think? I kind of like it but I don't know what I would wear on the eyes with this.
Speaking of eyes, my Athma quad came Monday and I have so many ideas!! I'll get back into my stash on Saturday

I'm wearing UD Gunmetal on lid, Buck in Crease and Creep in outer corner. My left eye is lined with Ivy and the right is Siahi.




I am in LOVE and my UPS man came 10 minutes early :) I was so excited when I answered the door, I can hear the truck from my window lmao And he'll be back next week to deliver my Athma Quad. I can't wait to use these as shadows.
