Madly Magenta & New Years Resolutions

I had a Macy's gift card and decided to get another cream color base from "Stylishy Yours" called Madly Magenta. I'm sure you all know purple is my favorite color so of course I had to try it as a cream blush, with cream blushes being my absolute favorite.

Love this! My look for the day was my normal day to day look with Woodwinked and Handwritten. On my lips is NARS Turkish Delight and this l/g is absolute love.
I think 2011 will be a major year for me in makeup. I've always been intrigued in makeup since I was little, but this past summer I became a true addict. Looking at my looks when I first started my blog, I see some improvements from then to now (I was such a newb lol). I'm not where I want to be yet, but I have the patience to keep working on it. I wish you all a happy new year.

MY NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS
*Be more organized - I hate cleaning and I'm very disorganized but I hope to change this
*Get better in skincare - I already gotten better at this, but I need to get better when I come home drunk and too tired to remove my makeup lol
*Eat better - I'm already skinny but I tend to eat emotionally or when I'm bored. I'm going to start eating when I truly have an apetite
*Budget better - Money burns a hole in my pocket. Between me being beauty obsessed with hair, nails, and makeup, and partying a lot since I live to party, my budget it RIDICULOUS. I need to improve on my spending habits.

MAC & Mickey Contractor/Peacocky Wishlist

As much as I love makeup and MAC cosmetics, I'm never a die hard fan to the point where I need something from every collection. I'm still at the point where I think all mascaras and liquid liners are the same (lol). And every collection the colors are simply put, just colors. But I think I've found two MAC collections that I truly can't wait to get my hand on!

Athma Eyeshadow Quad Jaan, Folie, Vivah, Carbon - $36 is a good deal since Folie & Carbon are on my wishlist and along with it are two LE shades. I think this quad will be good for a nice dark brown smokey eye.
Fluidlines Ivy and Siahi - ever since I've used Blacktrack, I have been in love. These will make great bases and liners to do colorful look.

Mini Makeup Haul

For Christmas, I got $100 in Sephora gift cards so of course today I went and spent every last dollar on them, and then some extra :)

UDPP Professional Size, Illamasqua Cream Blush in Rude, MAC Cream Color Base in Virgin Isle (Stylishly Yours), Nars l/g in Turkish Delight, MAC Complete Comfort Cream

Saint Germain l/s is one of my lipstick I barely wear, but with Turkish Delight it makes it more wearable. I'll definately be pairing this l/g with my other pinks to get more wear out of them.
Also on my cheeks is Virgin Isle.
FYI: I wouldn't wear my eyes like this with bright pink lips, just trying out my new goodies lol

Winterberry Inspired Look

My lovely coworker bought me a gift card to Sephora and I've been dying to try MUFE HD Microfinish Blush so I picked it up in Innuendo. It looks like a dark and intimidating color but lightly applied, this color is gorgeous and perfect for winter. It also makes a good lip color too!

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation is a foundation that claims to last for 15 hours and has medium to full coverage. It 1.0 oz and retails for $34. I picked this up because my Pro Longwear is too orange for me now, but I think it's because I got matched before I officially became the color I am now, which is a lot lighter. I wanted to try this when I heard some good reviews of it and because I ran out of MUFE ridiculously fast since I would wear it to school, take it off, then reapply for work, basically using it twice a day.
I got matched yesterday and today I'm testing it out. I hope its love because the coverage is amazing and it doesn't transfer either! Here it is on me



It has SPF 10 so it doesn't photograph as well as MUFE. I'll review it again sometime this week. Have any of you ever tried this foundation?

Amber Glow

I'm in the middle of a look but I wanted to show you all what I'm wearing on my cheeks that I adore.



Such a pretty highlight or bronzer and makes skin just glow! And its only $4 a CVS. I've heard this is a close dupe of Stereo Rose but I'm not sure. I just wanted to show you all this lovely product. And I dont know if you can tell for my eyes, I made a thick line of NYX Glitter Liner and then put a thin line of NYC Black Liquid Liner on top and my eyes has just the right amount of glitter reflecting light without being too over the top! And just because I'm feeling bold, I'm wearing Heartless l/s with Revenge is Sweet l/g on top.

Nothing New

Last night was my job's holiday party. My look was nothing new or spectacular. I know you all have seen this top a million times but it's just that all my other sweater dresses I ordered my mom bought and told me wait until Christmas, grrr =/




Just a few random flicks from the night with me and my coworkers. For my eyes, I was going to try the smokey again but I was already running last after class and hate rushing with makeup so I did a look with my NAKED palette.
