Dirty Sea Look

Hey beauty lovers. I recently did two looks on Monday I planned on posting but let me tell you, that was my off day. I did the smokey eye first and it just looked a hot mess. Then I took it off and did a neutral look and my blending was just, ugh. I gave up and left the house with foundation, blush, and nude lipstick. Don't even get me started on my brows, still having trouble getting them to look right. Anyway, today was better because I did a look using dark blues and greens, like our dirty USA oceans haha =P




All the colors are from my Coastal Scents regular palette. My lips are Revlon l/s in Champagne on Ice with MAC l/g Devishly Stylish on top.

Saturday, I went to Sephora and picked up my free bday gift which came with sucky Sephora Mascara that didn't do shit to my lashes, a small white eyeshadow I'll probably use for my tear duct, and a sample tiny green eyeliner pencil. Not impressed, but it was free and when I got to the register they rang this bell and the workers started clapping and saying "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" :D
Also finally picked up MUFE HD Foundation. I'm shade 175. That foundation=LOVE.

20th Bday Weekend Recap

Hi beauties! My bday weekend is officially over and thanks to all who gave me bday wishes. I had an amazing weekend and a lot to show you all so get ready!
Friday night, I drove to NY with my bestie and we did what we do best, party! Her brother bought me 2 bottles, Ciroc and Absolut. We had a great time.


Saturday I went for lunch at TGIF with my family and when the waiters came out to sing, my parents surprised me with this lovely cake:
It's so me, makeup and beauty obsessed. For the evening, I went out with all my close girlfriends to the Cheesecake Factory.

And after that, me, Romina and my other good friend Sharene went to a hotel party to officially end my bday weekend

My parents got me a Henri Bendel compact mirror I've been eying for a while. I love it, my favorite color purple and a lippie on it.


My cousin got me brown Donna Karan shoes and of course, my fav color, Purple Prada Shoes
My bestie got me a purple bandage dress from Express. Sharene got me this lovely Margarita cup

My little sis got me a gift card to MAC so I picked up the 222, 217, and 224
and later went to Target and got the kabuki brush in the back. I was so excited to use my new brushes that I did a look with my favorite color. I didn't use the 222, but I'm already in love with my 217 and 224. It blended out my colors amazingly!





I used all purples from my Coastal Scents regular palette, Posey blushcreme on my cheeks, Innocence, Beware! l/s and Devishly Stylish l/g
Everyone else gave me cards and money for the birthday. I had such a great weekend. Also, I'll be making my very first youtube video this week. It will be a contest entry to makeupbyleinababy's contest so stay tuned for that. I'm already on YT under the name lissyandkendra. My lil sis and I used to make videos together before I moved on campus and ever since I've came back we've been slacking. Talk to you all soon.

HAPPY 20TH BDAY TO ME :)

Today is my 20th birthday!!! Yayyy LAst night I went out with my bestie Romina and her brother to a club in NY and let me just say, Pro Longwear is freakin amazing because through all the dancing, none of my foundation melted, got shiny, or felt heavy like my others. I'm about to go out to have lunch with my fam and dinner with friends and maybe out again later so I leave you all with photos of my night. Talk to you soon!

What a Snob!

Happy Monday. So remember my last post about my eyebrows, I went to MAC and had an MUA show me how to fill them in. She filled them with Stud. I like how she did it but I thought it was too dark and bought Spiked along with Stud.


This is how the MUA did it. I love how she shaped them. Later I had to go to a Sweet 16 and like an idiot I wiped it off to try out Spiked.


I like how my makeup turned out, but when I tried to do my brows, it wasn't as good as the MUA, but what can I say, it takes practice.
Also, while at MAC I returned 6 empty containers and got Sketch eyeshadow, which is what I'm wearing on my crease along with Vainglorious on my lid.
& just some random flicks of me at the Sweet 16. The theme was Alice in Wonderland.

& today's face of the day is what I called "What A Snob"
Today, since it's so ugly and raining, I kept my eyes very neutral with browns from my Coastal Scents palette and used Snob l/s & Revenge is Sweet l/g on my lips. I also tried redoing my brows this time with Stud. I think it came out a lot better then Spiked.






What do you think? Revenge is Sweet makes a sheer purple effect on Snob which I kind of like since Snob is a bright pink. It was also perfect to kinda brighten up such a gloomy day.
Anyway, 5 more days till my birthday :) I'll be 20 on Saturday Oct 2 and already got a few early bday gifts I can't wait to share with all of you in my next post!
