A Sick Obsession...

Hello all! so this is the third time i've changed my blog name. first it was going to be a beauty blog then i erased it a few months ago then i just decided to come back and call it the party girls world but i follow mainly beauty blogs, get inspired, and decided to call it a A Sick Obsession. For now i guess it covers it all. I have an obsession with makeup and partying so there you go! and i hope you all enjoy my new banner.
Anyway, this weekend on Saturday I went to a pool party/bbq with one of my coworkers Sharene. It was like an island party full of people from Trinidad, Jamaica. etc. I had a good time

since its so hot everytime i come off of work at 9pm my parents tell me i look like i slathered my face in vaseline and that my face looks like a mask! so i bought nyc setting powder in translucent (thanks to watching dulcecandy87 vids lol) which worked for like 30 minutes! ugh so i went to the mac store and told the mua my situation and asked if i need a new setting powder or a new foundation. i currently wear studio sculpt. she recommended mac studio fix fluid which ive seen my friends and a lot of YT gurus use so i gave it a shot. today is my first day wearing it and i still set it with NYC setting powder so i'll review on it tomorrow.
also i went in for only the foundation and ended up asking about eyebrows! lol i bought eyeshadow in brun to fill in my brows

these are my new products which are being tested out today so i will deff review these in the next post depending on todays circumstances

Outfit & Face Of The Day

Hello lovelies. So most of the blogs I follow do Outfits & Faces of the day so I figured why not give it a try? I work two jobs, a morning job from 8 to 1 at a daycare which is on call and as a tutor at my college from 3 to 9 which is Mon - Thurs.
Usually when I get called into the daycare i look like crap! lol i mean i work with babies, theres no reason to look good, no makeup or anything. but for my other job at school, I don't really have to dress up or anything but I just like looking better and doing my makeup. Every other job I've been working with kids and there was no need for makeup so I only get to play in it on the weekends or when I'm going out at night.
Anyway, enough of my ramblings. Since I was didn't get called into the daycare and have extra time to get ready for job #2, I decided to post my OOTD and FOTD

Idk about you guys, but I usually do my makeup according to my mood. Today is such a gloomy day here in NJ and its raining ugh! So besides doing a bright blue smokey eye to match my outfit, I did grey.

Weekend Recap =)

Hi lovelies. So this weekend went pretty well. I got a lil makeup look to show you guys too!
So Saturday, Eliza and I drove to Long Island, NY to Jones Beach and afterwards we drove over to Brooklyn to a spot called Apolo. It's a chinese restaurant with spanish food as well and the chinese workers speak spanish too!

they kicked everyone off the beach cuz the storm was coming but me and eli stayed on to take some pix

we both ordered a Blue Hawaiian - yum!


i wasnt really that hungry so i ordered chicken on a stick

and today the fam and i went to dorney park but only to the waterpark

i really wanted to do a makeup look that matched my bikini but being that i woke up at 8am i was WAY to tired to be creative, but i most likely will do a look this week and post it
also my little sister wore this nice purple and yellow outfit today which inspired me to do a makeup look on her. the colors just blended so nicely on the clothes so i had to try it out. shes always my lil project hehe


i used the coastal scents 88 shimmer pallete. the colors marked with a star are what i used. i used lightest shade for her highlight, yellow for the lid, same light color for her inner tear duct, lighter purple for the crease and darker purple for the outer corner. i used different brushes from sonia kashuk to create the look and blend, blend, blend - the key to makeup!

the yellow i had to keep packing on but the other colors were very pigmented and went on well. i swatched the yellow compared to purple on my hand so u can see

i also used my new nude lip stuff from mac - fresh brew lipstick and cremesheen lipgloss in fashion whim

lastly, payday is friday and im soo excited because hot miami styles has a bunch of new dresses that i cant wait to order!

Do you like it in the NUDE?

hey loves. so i been dying to try the nude lip cuz i always do my whole face but just clear gloss. soo i paid a visit to the mac store yesterday and the mac artist tried on me this lovely combo for a nude lip

Its a lustre lipstick called Fresh Brew and on top is Mac cremesheen glass from their new collection, In The Groove and its the Fashion Whim. I LOVE this combo. I lov glossy lips so i made sure to get a shiny color on top to match

Heres my makeup for today

Im wearing mac paint pot in constructivist on my crease and browns from my 88 shimmer palette from coastal scents. on my cheeks is mac cream blush in posey and my foundation is mac sctudio sculpt foundation in nc55. i used a mac 188 stippling brush to apply the foundation and blush.
so i have a little story to tell you guys about yesterday after buying my mac lip products
i was in a rush going to work so as im driving to work im looking for my new lip stuff to apply and i couldnt find it. i was freaking the hell out like there was no tomorrow. i wanted to desperately turn the car back to my house to see if my makeup fell out my purse and i had a feeling it did, but i was already running late. i get to my jobs parking lot and find my lipstick in my seat. i looked everywhere for the gloss which cost more than the lipstick, not there. my work day was ruined. ugh i go there everyday with makeup and wanted to show off my nude lips hehe
i get home at 9:15 get my dad's flashlight and guess what, my gloss was underneath where i parked my car earlier. my mom's car was in that spot so i got on the ground and grabbed my gloss. yipee!! lol the gloss bottle had a few chipped marks on it and the top got bent but the gloss is perfectly fine. woohoo. the bottle doesnt look that bad at first glance but up close u can notice, but idc cuz my gloss is fine =)
just wondering, have any of u had something like that happen to you with any of your makeup? im ready to have an attack if i leave something at home! lol
anyway, i bothered my lil sis all week about nude lipstick and my parents wanted to see what i bought so excitedly i put it on. i go to my dad and say, "look daddy, do you love my NUDE lips" i started making kissy faces and poking out my lips. he laughed in my face, turned around and walked downstairs. =O
lmao i thought he thought it was ugly but he didnt no exactly what "nude lips" meant so all he could is laugh. haha... men and makeup dont mix wen it comes to knowing what some things mean

so compared to what ive seen on youtube, my makeup collection is NOTHING compared to being alot! to the top left is my eye pencils, liners, mascara, and pencil sharpeners. dont ask y an eraser is there. lol underneath are my lipsticks and my new gloss. to the right top are my brushes, mainly sonia kashuk. underneath i keep my foundation and some random crap like hair pins, gum, earrings and in the main part are my blushes and eyeshadows.
so yea i guess im gona start showing makeup on my blog along with my party life hehe

Pool Party

hey everyone! so last night i went to a pool party with 1 of my closest friends johane. i call her my big sis even tho i'm taller but she's older lol

it was fun, they had henny bacardi, watever lol when we got there the bacardi was gone so me and johane had a cup of henny. we didnt get drunk or anything tho lol we played uno with the guys in the pics and just mingled. afterwards me and jo got some pizza and headed home.. the most safest weekend ive have in a long time lmao my nights usualy end being a lil to buzzed hehe =)

Happy 4th of July Weekend =)

Happy independence day all!! so the family and i went to hershey park in PA for the weekend

im chocolate obsessed!!

me and my lil sis in chocolate world with these ginormous cookies. hers was a sugar cookie as if she needed to be any more hyper and mine was filled with peanut butter with a reeses in the middle. mm i lovee lovee lovee peanut butter & choco togeher!

i missed the fireworks this year =( i was supposed to go to the hudson river (jersey side) to see the fireworks macy's was having but i got back in jersey too late. traffic and parking would be a mess! so i was home.. wahhh. oh well next weekend i hope will be more fun

Work & Sonic

so i finaly started my job on tuesday. i tutor students at my college in the summer program and we get these cool netbooks. unfortunately we dont get to keep them but the students do as long as they stay at the university. before we got our students, we all meet up as tutors and discuss our planning, but this time we were amazed at our netbooks and snapped a few pix cuz it has a built in webcam

and today i finally went to sonic. they put a location about 25 minutes away, the closet one! the others are so much farther. and its located right near the gatsby salon from jerseylicious. me and my lil sis wanted to walk in so bad but we new they would at us like ??? lol but we took pix at sonic


got some vids but i need to edit it. overall we love sonic its our new fav restaurant. i havent pigged out in so long cuz i been eating healthy and going to the gym for last 4 weeks! but it was worth it, today was my piggy day hehe
anywho, me and the fam are out to hershey park for the weekend. ill blog there!
